During Phases 6, 8 and 10 of the project for total redevelopment of Substation 220 kV Kalininskaya,  on 31 December, 2019 Energokomplekt concluded a contract of a complete delivery for the execution of construction, installation and start-up-and-adjustment works, inclusive of steel structures: gantries, towers, railings and protection enclosures, stairways, cable ducts elements, etc. The project is carried out by order of Main Power Transmission Lines of the Urals (Branch of UES FGS PAO (JSC)).

Within the contract signed, Energokomplekt will carry out supplies for the amount exceeding 215 million rubles.

The specific character of works for the upgrading and redevelopment of this facility lies in the fact that all design and construction solutions should consider possible adverse weather conditions at the place of the substation location; for which reason some specific requirements are imposed upon steel grades, welded seams, materials, as also upon all equipment in service.

New technical solutions during completion phases of Substation Kalininskaya reconstruction will provide a high level of automation at one of the longest-standing substations and will secure the uninterrupted performance of large industrial enterprises of the city: the Kalinin Machine-Building Plant, the Ural Turbo Motor Plant and Uralelektrotyazhmash.
